As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a health expert and CEO of Chairman Herbal Health Centre told men to suck a breast.
Charity Twumasi Ankrah told KMJ’s Prime Morning on Tuesday that breast-sucking is a big way to help stop women from getting breast cancer.
She thinks that a woman’s breasts should be healthier.
“As a woman, it’s very important for you to breastfeed your child. That’s why it’s a worry if a woman hasn’t given birth yet, because the breasts have to be sucked at the end of the day.”
She also said, “If you’re a man, please try to suck a breast as much as you can this month to raise awareness about breast cancer, even if you’ve never done it before.”
Also, the health expert said that sucking shouldn’t be done every day, but once in a while.
She has warned all men, though, not to squeeze their breasts because it could hurt the women. “It’s not a balloon,” she said.
Charity Ankrah also told women with breast cancer that they should feel free to cut off the affected breast to protect their whole bodies. She doesn’t think it’s a death sentence.
“Having breast cancer in just one breast doesn’t mean you’re going to die. I should be able to get rid of the one who is sick so I can get on with my life. It wouldn’t be comfortable to take off both, but I have to be fine with taking off one,” she said.
She also told the women, “If you have to do it, gather your courage.” Don’t feel shy, don’t feel bad. Just know that if one alarm has to go off, you’re saving yourself.”
