Guardiola was upset that Haaland only scored one goal as City briefly moved ahead of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.
Haaland had scored at least three goals in every Premier League game at the Etihad before this game. The Norwegian striker scored hat-tricks against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and Crystal Palace.
Haaland had a great chance against Southampton but didn’t take it.
Even though he scored on Saturday, Haaland didn’t look like he was on his game. After Phil Foden put him through on goal, he hit the post on one of his chances
Guardiola said after the game, as reported by Goal,
“I am so mad at him because he didn’t get three goals. So, there is a petition to get him kicked out of the Premier League.”
Guardiola, on the other hand, was quick to say that he was happy with the striker’s performance as a whole. Joao Cancelo, Riyad Mahrez, and Foden scored the other goals for City.
One fan started a petition to get Haaland kicked out of the Premier League. Guardiola said this because someone had started a petition to get Haaland kicked out of the Premier League. Sports Brief said that Erling Haaland has caused so much trouble in English football that a frustrated fan has started a petition to get the Norwegian banned from Association Football.
The 22-year-old just moved from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City this summer, but he has already adjusted to the demands of the league, scoring 20 goals in his first 14 games in all competitions.
Right now, Haaland is a nightmare for defenders, and one fan doesn’t want to take any chances with the former Borussia Dortmund player. The fan in question has done some funny things to stop Haaland, like start a petition to get the striker kicked out of Association Football.
