$494 Million Mega Millions jackpot win: Winners in California and Florida

When claiming their prizes, both winners will have to make their identities public.

In Friday’s drawing, two fortunate ticket holders from California and Florida correctly chose their winning combination to take home the enormous $494 million Mega Millions prize.

The Mega Ball was 19, and the winning numbers were 9, 22, 26, 41, and 44.

According to the California Lottery website, one Mega Million winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven convenience store in millions, California.

According to the California Lottery website, one Mega Million winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven convenience store in millions, California.

According to WFLA, a 7-Eleven in Fort Myers also sold the second ticket. The winners have not yet been revealed.

A cash option of about $123.9 million or the $247.9 million prize was available to each ticket holder.

Only a small number of states nawaswide permit the prize winner to maintain their anonymity.

According to the state websites, Californians and Floridians are required by law to report their name, city of residence, the game they won, when they won, and how much they won.

Only the Mega ball eluded three other prizewinners from Texas, North Carolina, and New Jersey. They will receive a $1 million consolation award.

The most recent Mega Millions jackpot winner was an anonymous ticket holder from Des Plaines, Illinois, who took home the $1.337 billion prize back in July when the country was gripped by lottery fever.

Those who didn’t win the Mega Millions jackpot still have a chance to become millionaires.

The $454 million mark was attained by the Powerball drawing jackpot. The prize will be worth 232.6 million in cash before Saturday’s drawing.
