Ho Technical University calls on gov’t to urgently address infrastructural deficits

Management of the Ho Technical University (HTU) in the Volta Region has appealed to government to provide more infrastructure to meet the needs of the University’s growing student population.

The University has seen a sharp rise in its intake due to the free Senior High School programme, as well as the introduction of degree and top-up courses this academic year.

Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Ben Quashie Honyenuga who made the appeal in Ho at the 21st Congregation of the University, said the infrastructural deficits urgently need to be addressed to enhance teaching and learning.
